The XX1st century is the thriving epoch of communications. Transmitting data from any point on earth to any other point has never been easier. Our mission statement set the stage for us as an environmentally-aware company of technology-driven, innovation-inspired corporate entity, even while working within legal boundaries. The mission includes not only safe planning of seabed interference and cabling through submarine caves and rocks, but also protecting biodiversity and ecological integrity, restoring damaged habitat and extirpated species. While satellites provide access to connection hubs and data transmission facilities in every corner of the world, still ninety-nine percent of international data is transmitted by wires at the bottom of the ocean called submarine communications cables. GSR Global provides geodetic, seismic, currents’ inspection services and planning routes for installing submarine communications cables, high voltage cables, and fiber cables.
Our mission is to provide cost-effective, reliable, aqua-friendly, scientifically proven, thoroughly calculated routes for installing submarine communications and data transmission cabling infrastructure.
Although GSR Global is not directly involved in installment of connection systems, cabling through the seabed and rocks, we feel great responsibility for protecting marine life. Before taking on a new contract, we advise our partners to avoid touching the areas of protected aqua zones. Depending on particular destination, we work closely with Marine Conservation Action Fund, Serve Planet, Sea Life Conservation and other international organizations as well as local communities to promote the shortest route for cabling systems while keeping the precious territories and zones of protected species intact. We strive to address the concerns of shore-adjacent municipalities, local inhabitants of scenic lagoons when routing the industrial equipment and work to protect places that are treasures of natural heritage.
