Bisleri is a brand of bottled water, has 60% market share in packaged drinking water in India. Currently, the company has 80 bottling plants, amongst which 12 are their own and 68 are licensed. History Bisleri begins in 1948. The Parle group, founded by Jyantilal Chauhan, started manufacturing soft drinks in 1949, namely, Gold Spot, Limca, Maaza, Thums Up and Citra. Bisleri, an Italian mineral water company, was launched in India in the year 1965, and bought by Parle from the Italian entrepreneur Signor Felice Bisleri in 1969. At this time Bisleri had been unable to market bottled water, and planned to exit the market. However, the Parle group felt that no soft drink company was complete without soda. Bisleri was initially used to launch both carbonated and non-carbonated versions of Bisleri soda. Bisleri soda, though doing well, had to be discontinued, as Parle sold their soft drink brands to Coca-Cola in 1993. After the sale to Coca-Cola, Ramesh Chauhan shifted the main focus to make Bisleri into a major brand. Today Bisleri has 7 different products of water. The biggest dream director of Bisleri Ramesh Chauhan - provide each residents and visitors easy access to the Indian purified drinking water as well as to support the limited natural sources of drinking water. Technically companies this task is extremely difficult, therefore, Ramesh Chauhan introduced the sale of licenses for the production of brand Bisleri (Franchise). Today the number of private factories licensed by Bisleri more than 6 times the amount of their own. Aqua RTA is one of 68 official partners (franchisees), and provides a continuous production and supply in difficult accessible regions. Our company Aqua RTA was founded by Russian businessman Nikolai Baldin in September 2014. By March 2015, we launched our own production. After the first active season, we found that our products are in strong demand among the local population, but our capacity is not sufficient to meet demand in the region.
